Jerry Springer will no longer be hosting America's Got Talent. He has other commitments that conflict with the show. It's a shame because I thought he was really good as the host. He really showed a different side that we hardly see because when you think of Jerry Springer, you think of his talk show.
NBC has announced that the new host is Nick Cannon. I don't know much about him other than he's Mr. Mariah Carey and I've only see bits of him on other shows. He hasn't really impressed me and I'm just not sure if he would fit in on this show. It should be interesting to see how he does.

thanks so much for letting us all know around here at Mylot that Jerry Springer will no longer be hosting the show America's Got Talent. and i have never heard of that other man before. Nick Cannon, his name sure does not ring a bell with me, but maybe if i would see him, i would know who that he was thou. and i love to watch America's Got Talent on television like that. and i think that some of the people that the hosts doesn't like, sometimes i think that they are good. lol have you ever felt that way towards some of the contestants that are on the show before? and some of the people that they pick to be on that show, i do not think that they are all that good either. lol America's Got Talent has been on the air now for several years and i hope that it is along alot longer as well.

I know Nick Cannon has been on MTV before. It just seems he would be a bit more...I don't know. Before he may have been a host for younger people but this is a bigger step. America's Got Talent appeals to all ages, so it should be interesting to see how well he does.
I'm surprised at some of the people they let through. It can be a really crazy show but when it comes down to it, I think America usually does right and votes for the talent.
