I am running out of stuff to listen to on my playlist, so I figured I'd ask all my friends on myLot! I am open minded on all types of music, and I will not turn down anything, I promise :) . If you want, give me a specific album to choose from too. I'll be sure to respond to you individually once I heard the album entirely. Thanks, and I can't wait!

Talking Heads' song - Once in a Lifetime - is one of my favorites! Just thought I'd sneak that little info in here in case you were thinking of a song to start with -- because I recommend it. :)

I've heard a bit about the Talking Heads but have never listened to them, so I think I'll give them a listen!

I really like a lot of things, so I will list a few that I listen to a lot. I grew up around country music so I listen to a lot of Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, and Keith Urban. I have been a Hanson fan since I was around 9 and have grown up with their music and they are a lot different that their Mmmbop days and you should give them a chance. I also listen to Maroon 5, All-American Rejects, Lifehouse, and I adore Paramore. If you ever listened to Savage Garden, Darren Hayes went solo and he is amazing and I highly recommed him as well! They are all a bit different, but I hope this gives you some new sounds to check out! Good luck!

What kind of music do you like?My cousin is the drummer in a metal band called "Terror Syndrome" they have a myspace page. You have to like screaming metal though. I can't even listen to it.

I enjoy some metal, but I don't really like screaming too much, but I'll still give them a listen. I enjoy everything from jazz, to classical, to progressive, to rap, to ska.

I'm not familiar with her other songs but I just kept playing Adele's Chasing Pavements over and over lately. But, you might not like it 'cause you're a guy but I don't know, who knows. Adele won the Best New Artist category in this year's Grammys. I really like Chasing Pavements.

Sigur Ros. I first heard one of their best songs through a Prince of Persia commercial. I looked through Youtube to find the song (Saeglapor) and I'm glad I did. I also went to look for more and more of their music. They've been around since 1999 and have been slowly gaining momentum. One of their songs(nothing song) appeared in Vanilla Sky and another(Staraflur) appeared in The Life Aquatic. Most of their music is amazingly beautiful. They're from Iceland, but use both that language and one that they made up(Hopelandic). Their genre is hard to say because they tend to go across the board and experiment, so it's hard to pin them down. They're worth checking out. The album "Takk" would be a good place to start. Then, there's VNV Nation, an electronic music duo I've been into since late 2001. I found them through a mailing list when someone mentioned them. I looked at VNV's website and then downloaded "Solitude", a remix of "Solitary". I haven't stopped listening to them. I recommend the album "Praise the Fallen".
