hey mod :) actually my friend, yes i can. My husband taught me how to do it, no different really than catching a fly. you dont want to try to catch left or right of them, but put your hand above them :) either than, or 'swoop' them from the surface they are on. Can we have another post for what we do with the mosquito after we catch it? LOL

yeah. I can. You just have to watch them, and strike at the right moment. Or you can just wait till they land on you, and smack them. Or wait till they land on a friend, or preferably someone you don't care for, and smack them. Ohhhh no sorry there was a mosquito on you.

I can catch a mosquito with my hands. I used to do that all the time when I was a little kid. I would try too anyway. I would catch a bunch and miss a bunch lol I don't try doing it now but when i was a little kid.. i thought it was fun. I used to catch all kinds of flying things.

hahaha, I think it is hard to catch mosquito when there's only one but if it is a group of mosquitoes? I think I can. But the most effective way to catch mosquito is let them bite your legs or your arms and there you go... you can slap them, not only that you catch them but you can kill them for sure. Lol..

When I am lucky enough then I can catch it with one hand but at times you need to used both hands to ensure that I it my target. I just want to smash the mosquito with a bang since i hate it if they bite me. This may sound so mean to the poor mosquito but I can't help it at all not to smash it especially mosquitoes that comes out during the day. I am so afraid to catch malaria or dengue.

Haha, I thought this one is a funny question but I have done that before catching a mosquito with bare hands. There are mosquitoes that go near you and it gets irritating and there are even that I caught that were already sticking their needle on my skin yikes! But you got to get even.;-)

Hello modstar, Yes, I can do that too - with both hands. But it is hard sometimes. Must get ready for hide and seek and sometimes some adventures. Well, even with both hands it is still not an easy task.

If I see a mosquito flying around I usually can clap my hands around one and kill it. Usually though I get bit a bunch of times and dont see the mosquito so I dont get to kill it. I hate mosquitos. I cant go outside after 6pm without getting bit. I dont like using bug spray so I dont really use it.

I dont think I can do it intentionally. Sometimes it happens unintentionally and most of the times I will just slap the mosquitoes to the walls to kill them.

Can't say I have tried to grab one. I have slapped my arm and squished one that way. Does that count?

I've never tried to catch a mosquito at all. But I sure can slap them one-handed with the best of them...lol.

lol, yeah, I guess I can but not all the time. I use my both hands too or when it landed on me, have to stay still. Poor mosquitoes but what can we do, they're disturbing.

I normally use only my right hand & yes, the fatter it is the easier the catch. Darn those mosquitoesIt seems to be their breeding season now as there are so many of them & especially there have been a lot of dengue cases here in our country due to the Aedes mosquitoesKILL THEM ALL THOSE DARN MOSQUITOES!!! AHhaa
