Those of you lucky enough to live near a White Castle, they are providing tableside service complete with tablecloths, candlelight and decorations. You can't beat it for cheap food, two can eat for less than $6! Reservations are required. I think this is so cute and thoughtful! It's a chance for young, cash-strapped lovers to have a romantic dinner on the cheap with a nice atmosphere. If I had someone, I'd be there!

If he loves it, you should make a reservation and surprise him! It's a cheap, memorable Valentine's present. White Castle has yummy chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches and fish nibblers that are delicious if you don't like those delicious "gut bombs". Whatever you do, I hope the day has some romantic moments for you.

I think that for $3 dollars a head you should have found a friend to take! I'd have gone with you, if I were closer :-)

Heck, for that amount of money we could've taken your whole brood and the Mister, too! Did you know that millionaires have actually had White Castle burgers flown overseas to them? People either love them or hate them, no in-between it seems!

I love White Castle, but I would have had to have gone with my kids. Not exactly a romantic night out. My son only likes the chicken rings sandwiches, but my daughter will eat anything on the menu.

At least you have your children, mine are grown and gone and the only ones I could take to dinner would be my two dogs--I don't think we'd make it past the door!

Yes, I love those little burgers!! When I lived in the Southwest I missed them a lot. I tried to get them to open one in my city but they said they had no intention of moving west! It's good to be back in the midwest and be able to enjoy some "gut bombs" every so often.

Well Dragon, that sounds like a cute idea, but I don't eat cow unless it's grass fed. Watch the documentary called, "King Corn" and you'll see why...

I've never heard of that documentary but grass-fed cattle are much healthier and better tasting than corn fed. My Grandpa raised pedigreed Herefords and he was very careful as to what he fed them. They got sweet feed, hay and pasture grass but no corn and the meat was tasty, healthy, less fat and very tender. I'll have to look up a synopsis of that documentary, thanks for letting me know about it.
