i really admit that create new discussion is more difficult than post any response. my own self also like to post many response than create some discussion although i know that i should do both of it in balance. i just wonder about others. do you face the same thing as like me or you are easier to create new discussion than posting any response?

Actually that is also my reasons why I rarely posted discussions. I have a difficult time thinking what topics and discussions to post so I ended up just answering discussions for the rest of the day. Sometimes, I have to draft my discussions at night then post it the following morning but then sometimes I cannot think of any topic.LOL!

I do much better responding than starting. Granted, I've started quite a few, but I didn't get over 10000 by starting lots of discussions.

No I don't think creating new discussions is easier than responding to discussions is for me. I find it hard to think of something that the others would be inerested in and want to respond to. I see some on here that appears everything that happens through the day they post a topic about, which is good for them. I just seem to be a more private person I guess. Sometimes things happen in our lives that we feel we need to let others know about. But what I find is it is real hard to start a discussion that interests people so I don't make many of them.

I agree with you. It is just too difficult to think out a good discussion. This is why usually I tend to respond to others' discussions only. I feel that my ideas are run out and I can't have an inspiration to think out a good topic easily. I love China

Hi plumwish! I feel that there are too many discussions here already and if we all stopped starting new ones and responded to the others it might not be a bad thing. Just for a week so that some of the discussions already there get the attention they deserve. I rarely start my own and prefer responding on others. If I have a particular thought for a discussion then I will post it but I find it easier and more fun to respond on others some days. I have to be in a particular mood to start my own and then, as I feel it is a must to comment back to those who respond to me, if I know I will not have time to do so I do not start a discussion at the time. Have fun and happy Lotting!
