many parents save the delicacy for their children, they would not have more bite than their children. While, I can't help thinking this, how many children can do the same to their parents? let their parents enjoy more delicious food while eat less themselves?

oh no.
i'm so ashamed of that. my parents have always been giving me the best parts of all. And i seldom leave the best of them.
I do at times, but that is when i'm totally full and can't eat anymore.
I'm going to start showing how much i love them more evidently.

Children need more nourishment then adults, and I think that also children can sometimes become greedy or possessive over their food as they do not feel they should share. Often times it is more to do with sibiling or friend rivalry then that of their parents. Children also don't know the manners or meaning of saving more and allowing their elders to eat. To children, they are the adults, they know everything because they little they do understand at first is treasured to them and as well it should be.
Only children who know the effects of the food that goes in them, how it nourishes them and how little they really do get (for those who have parents who do not have a lot of) may eat less and save portions for later. At a young age I was taught what spoiled and when it was safe to eat or drink it, not because we were poor, but because I also understood the value of money and food.
