I am now convinced that the average Obamabot

is too stupid to breath. In the first month of the Obama Administration he has proven that he has no intention of following his "Blueprint For America", yet like the mindless lapdogs you are, you continue to defend him. I think that if Obama raped your daughter, you would be excited that he chose her.

it is the whole us vs them thing. They have bought into it. Notice if you attack Obama they start brining up Bush immidately....like that is someone to compare a president against. Also they voted for him...so if they attack him that is saying they voted wrong...which is something they are not ready to admit. So for right now they are willing to defend him reguardless of what he does. Hopefully they wake up soon.

Isn't it pathetic how they defend Obama by admitting that he isn't any better than the president they consider "The worst in history"

I don't have any hope for a "wake up" soon. One of the major reasons he got elected is because there is a huge mass of people out there that voted for him that never paid attention to the issues. They basically voted because of all the things he was not, and forgot to pay attention to what he was. I have no real hope that these people will start paying attention to policy any time soon.

"Isn't it pathetic how they defend Obama by admitting that he isn't any better than the president they consider "The worst in history" And that is why their arguments are so pathetic. Thank god someone else sees this. They use Bush as their defense for every stupid thing Obama does. Apparently they are happy with him being no better than Bush.

The blind leading the blind, is one thing, bu the mindless leading the mindless is even worse. I hate to see what the next 4 years holds for our nation and we the people.

Obama is reacting just like Hoover did. What was Einstien's definition of insanity?

Well that is kind of dumb, yet no one every argued that the people that elected Obama as their lord and savior as that smart. I am amazed everything Obama goes to a town hall meet how many dolts show up. When Obama went to that city in Indiana, we had a woman begging for a car, and man how almost started crying when it was his turn to ask the Lord Barack Obama a question.

Howard Stern proved your point. He asked supporters of President Obama why they voted for him. He asked on was it his strong pro life stance--Yes, another because he favored harsh integrations of prisoners--Yes. Look at the girl they interviews right after the results were announced. Now I don't have to buy gas for my car or make my house payment. Then the town hall meeting I am homeless and need more than my car to live in I need an apartment and a new car. I work at McDonald's and want you to make them give me more benefits. How many of these people will be rioting in the streets when these things are not given to them. The Taxpayers will be working to pay for the depression causing package while his supporters will be demanding more and more.

I have to say that I was pretty surprised by the "gimme gimme" attitudes of some of my fellow Floridians yesterday. The kid who's been working at McDonalds for four years was obviously nutty and has no real ambition...other than being a deejay. I had compassion for that little lady who was homeless (she has a house now by the way) but she's not the only homeless person down here so why should she expect someone to provide her with a place to live? The one that really got me though was the man who complained about going from an income of $3k per month down to $1,100 per month when he lost his job and his complaint was that he made too much to qualify for food stamps and other government assistance. He wanted the government to automatically qualify you for everything else if you're receiving unemployment. That entitlement attitude is shared by too many people and I suspect that that man in particular will be more than happy to riot/demonstrate when things aren't handed to him on a silver platter.

I am really afraid for the futre of the United States under obama. I do not think Obama knows what he is doing. If you look at Obama's record, he has always avoided making important decision in politics. Now Obama is in a position where he has to make important decisions every day.

LMAO! I'm sorry...that last line caught me off guard. I'm not a happy camper about how things have been going so I guess I don't qualify as an Obamabot...much to the dismay of some I'm sure. The inability of the new administration to appoint people to important positions who are not tax cheats certainly calls attention to the question of ethical standards within the White House. I'm very distressed about the stimulus packages...both of which do little to stimulate the economy and appear, more and more every day, intended to line the pockets of major campaign contributors. I didn't start out supporting Obama, as you know, and won't sit here and defend what I don't support. I still believe that, had McCain chosen Mitt Romney as his running mate, we'd be in an entirely different position right now and I would have a lot more confidence in the direction this country was taking.

I was surprised McCain didn't announce that he would pick Mitt Romney as his Secretary of Treasury. I think making such a statement during his campaign really would have helped. I'm still hoping to see Romney run in 2012.

He's a politician. If you expect a politician to actually stand by their election promises, I have a lovely bridge I'd like to sell you.

That's a general "you" rather than a specific "you". Probably should have said "anybody" instead.

Yup, he's just another sleazy politician. The only "change" is from Representative Republic to Socialist/Communism... but the lazy and mindless prefer that because it requires nothing from them.

Para, Obama hasn't even been president for a month, and idiots like you already want to impeach him (to bad you supported the only president in the last 20 years that should have been impeached). It is good that Obama is our president, because I don't think that old man McCain could handle this job, and we would be talking about president Palin. We all should be thankful that she is still a govenor.

Yeah, so far he's only been in office a month and he has done more damage than most presidents do in their entire term. Quit lying about what I said... or do you have the ability to tell the truth?

Yes, I can read, and I read your post attacking someone that hasn't even been working for a month. He has a big job ahead of him, but like Bill Clinton, he will fix the mess made by republicans, and get our country back on track. Why is it that it always takes a democrate to fix all of the screw ups of republicans?

I'm definitely not defending him, but what's the QUESTION with this "discussion"? Did you make it simply so you could simply push your close-minded opinions onto others? Why did you write this? We all have our political opinions, but that doesn't mean we need to angrily write about each and every one of them on a MyLot "discussion" and expect people to respond.

How can I "push" my opinion on you? No one forced you to read it, much less comment. I simply put my opinion out there and you replied. Freedom is great, isn't it!

In all fairness, this is a discussion board, not just a question and answer board. Discussions simply need a topic and not necessarily a question.

So, we're discussing your more-than sarcastic and anti-Obama opinions? There's no discussion to be had, really. It's just an excuse for people to get mad at eachother and not "discuss" anything but throw around their close-minded political views. I'm sorry, I just really hate these kinds of "discussions". And you're right, I really need to find a way to NOT open them and get upset by them (NOT just this one in particular). Any tips?
