If you watched ECW last night, you would now know that Christian is back as part of the ECW roster. Here we all thought he'd come back at the Royal Rumble and be revealed as the guy behind Jeff Hardy's "accidents." I guess it just goes to show you that WWE doesn't like it when things get leaked to the internet and thus changes things around. Well, with Matt Hardy going to Smackdown, they've got a new established veteran on ECW. This could be interesting.

hi marcola. i did mention in one of your earlier discussions that i think christian will end up in ecw and here we have christian as a legit star in the ecw roster. i think a christian-swagger feud is good but i'd like swagger to retain the title. i'd rather have bourne or ortiz win the title from swagger than having christian win it so soon. i like your idea of having a fatal four-way between swagger-christian-mark henry-finlay. although, it'll also be interesting to see tommy dreamer in the mix instead of mark henry. wwe creative should give dreamer one last chance to hold onto the title at least for one more time before he retires. just my thoughts. anyway, back to christian, the guy has good ring skills and he has personality. love him or hate him, christian is one of the better wrestlers now in the wwe roster. i'd love to see him feud with the hardys, edge, and even feud against cena and jericho. anyway, i hope he gets good storylines in ecw. i don't expect him to stay there for good since the draft is coming up.

Ah, I see that you did. Well, you called that one better than I did! As for Bourne or Ortiz winning the title-Bourne maybe. I mean he's popular enough and puts on good matches. Ortiz...not so much. He probably would be better off as a comedy heel because I don't know if the fans are really behind the rally towel thing. I think it's inevitable that Christian will win the title. I just hope that they let Swagger hold onto it for awhile longer. As for Dreamer, considering the way he's been booked since giving his promo a few weeks back, he probably will leave the company in June. It seems the company doesn't respect him enough to give him one last time to shine.

If the ECW title changed hands every month, it would be like how the WWF title was in 1999 with the Rock, Mankind, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Triple H, Vince McMahon and Big Show all having the title. Some of which had more than one reign. It could also be compared to how the IC title changed hands pretty much every 4-6 weeks from early '99 to late '02. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Attitude Era and I wish the product was still that good, but when a title changes hand that often, it loses some of its' value and you can predict when a new champion will be crowned.

agree with you about bourne getting a better shot at the title over ortiz but i think ortiz deserves a shot as well. i mean the ecw title can pretty much go to different wrestlers right now and i wouldn't mind seeing the title change hands every month or so. i mean it creates a better exposure for the wrestler who is the title holder plus it gives fans something new to expect. anyway, with christian's inclusion in the ecw roster, i think ecw will be more interesting nowadays.

I actually missed ECW so I watched it online a day later. I was extremely happy Christian came back as he was the only reason I would even watch TNA. Now that he is back on ECW, I will watch it every week. I think he can have a great feud with Jack Swagger and he will win the ECW title at WrestleMania, most likely. I also think this is the best way for Christian to come back and be a top superstar. If he came back on Raw or Smackdown, he would probably be put in a midcard feud. Christian cut a great promo and had a great match with Swagger. The only thing I didn't like about ECW was that one announcers reaction when he returned. He was like: "It's...It's Christian" with no enthusiasm or anything. Striker's line: "This moment has become instantly classic" was very nice.

Imagine what it would've been like if Mike Adamle was still announcing: "It's the Christian making his dramatic return to the ECW." I hope they let Christian have a lot of input into his promos and character. Let him refer to his peeps as the "peepulation" and bring back the "Peep Show." Of course, with this being PG WWE, I wonder if they'd go that route.

i actually missed christian calling his "fans" his "peeps". lol! captain charisma was a good persona for christian and he really handled it well. he comes off as a superstar with delusions of grandeur. hahaha!!! i really think christian will help ecw in the ratings game. agree that christian may win the ecw title at wrestlemania but that will be too predictable. anyway, i'd want christian to have a back and forth feud against swagger, finlay, and even boogeyman. that will be something interesting to watch. i think boogeyman can be ecw's heel now since ecw has a new face in christian. cheers!!!

I for one was pretty shocked to see him on ecw. I was actually pissed to because I wanted him on smackdown to team up with edge once again but now that I think of it him being on ecw is actually a good thing. Since ecw needs a big star after matt hardy got switched back to smackdown and christian is that star. But im so glad hes back he has already made ecw a great show that I look forward to see every tuesday night now.

I dont think that it will be long til Christian will be on Smackdown. I think now that Matt is a heel they are going to do a tag team mix up. Like edge and matt vs jeff and christian. how weird would that be? my husband was so excited to see him on ecw last night.

I'm sure it'll happen eventually. Someone who's been wrestling as long as Christian has can definitely help the younger stars on ECW in the meantime.

Oh really! I too though Christian would be revealed as Jeff's attacker. I guess ECW is kinda similar to TNA as far as the matches go so Christian will be made the new ECW champion soon.

Hmm....I guess I should've marked for spoilers if you haven't seen the show yet. Anyway, I'm picking Swagger to win on Sunday, so we'll probably get Swagger vs. Christian not too long after that. They could even throw Mark Henry into the mix and have a fatal four way for the ECW championship featuring Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Christian vs. Mark Henry. I think a Mark Henry/Christian feud could even be interesting.
