Rohit sharma last hit a half century against Australia when we went there last year.. Since then he has played many matches without contributing much.. Since India is winning matches consistently, his continuous failure with bat is not regarded seriously by selectors.. We came close to losing the 20-20 match yesterday due to his 5 runs from 12 balls.. I feel he should be removed and and any other young player like pujara or uthappa should be selected for new zealand tour.. what do you think..? happy mylotting..

Rohit is a good player. But now Indian cricket standards have increased and being a good player does not get you a place in the team. You have to be extra ordinary in all aspects..bowling, fielding and batting. Rohit sharma has played well against australia but after that he was in and out of the team. The only place vacant now in the team is of Sachin's. Jadeja is also a tough contender for 6th spot. So rohit sharma might not get a place in future if he does not perform in australia or other tours...

well sharma is a good player.the main reason he always get the chance than any others is that whenever he is out of team and play domestic matches,he made some very impressive knocks.thats the main reason he get selected this many times.i think the only player who was almost consisten during the lasy year and half is raina and gambhir.gambhir is a over rated player and raina is a good alrounder and more importantly,he makes good use of the chance given to him.uthappa could have made into the team if he had atleast played well in ipl and domestic seasons.as far as i can see,no place is vacant now and all the players r playing well.sachin said he wont be playing every odi match here after so the only place available is of sachin and there would be a tough competetion.i have seen pujara play too.not very impressive.i think the new zealand tour could be rohits last chance if he want to stay in the team

yea srini i too agree with your thought.he has been given extra chances but he didnt prove his talent.. since India is in a winning streak his form was not taken in the limelight! i think he needs a break!! he should be trained more in domestic level and should come back
