I have a problem.

Cheaters will not help any of us! Neither the users or mylot and if they are left to get away with it myLot could end up like many other sites - then where do the honest members here go? We are asked on joining to report offenders and report we should. If you wish to send me a PM I will also lend a hand. Cheaters spoil it for everyone!

I think that I'd certainly have to say that you should report. This certainly does not help this member, if he or she keeps plagiarizing. And certainly does not help any of us, either. Report it!

I am not the myLot police either, but if you appreciate myLot, then you'd do yourself and everyone else here a favor by reporting it. There are far more of us than there are moderators here; consider the exclamation point like a neighborhood watch committee. Cheers!

You should avoid this type of persons who act like a thief.Don't response to discussions started by them.If they response to your discussions then just ignore.

Why not you post all the discussion and yours link on this page so that everyone get to read them all. This type of character couldn't be tolerate because this is a very bad things to do in this world I think. Happy Mylotting.

Personally I think you have done a Good thing first by reporting the one you know for sure was Plagerized, and hopefully someone else will notice and something will end up being done about this, and this person get warned or removed for doing something like this. Personally when someone cannot post something back somewhere that is their own opinion, that is sad for sure.

Ignore it. It's mylot's job to find it out. If that situation happens to me, I don't know what to do. There are I think, many are like that in here. Again, this site is not a writing job where our writing will be published. If that is so, Mylot will be strict when it comes to originality and plagiarism. of course, that act of plagiarizing should not be promoted. If we are going to copy about a certain article or others' content, it would still be better to acknowledge or recognize the author of such work. I likewise noticed responses that are amazingly written, though I know most of us have passion on writing so I thought he/she is that really good. I just ignore it. Why not report it to Mylot, tell them to investigate the discussions or response of this member and include therein the "phrase" or "provision" that he/she violated. I just hope, that was not me......Definitely, am not guilty of it. I may be copy pasting some articles, but I would see to it that I recognize or acknowledge the site it came from or the author if there is any.

Yes I agree with you, I hate those plagiarist. They are killing all sites like this. But it is really hard to stop them. i think all you can do is report that user to mylot team. I do not know if they do something but you can not do more. As you said we are not here to catching cheaters and plagiarist, admin should deal with them. I hope there will be much more action done against all kind of cheaters here.

Hi there ,,,, You can send a query to mylot ,, via email,,, stating the reason you have just said,,, and then it would be best that you don't worry about that ,,, ultimately these cheaters would get themselves into trouble one or the other day .... You just be honest and keep reporting such things in the discussions ,, some or the other will give you suggestions which will be genuine and also keep reporting to mylot query .. they will figure out a way out ,,, Cheers Vishwas

It really bothers me that people do this online and think it is somehow ok. In the educational/scholarly world you'd be sued for such things. I would just keep pointing out plagiarism when you see it.

that guys really is a cheater. I hate cheaters. if i were you, i would also report them. although that guy did not harm anyone at some extent, they should get punished by cheating alone. btw, there are a lot of plagiarism, especially over the internet. intellectual property should be respect, should be protected. you did the right thing.
