I Got a Ped-Egg!

I decided to "pamper" myself a bit since I finally got my disability so I got myself on of those "Ped-Eggs" they're advertising on TV all the time. They have an "As Seen On TV" section in CVS so I bought it there for $9.99. I wish I had before and after pictures to show you because it's unbelievable how good that little gadget works! I had the roughest, toughest, most dried out feet imaginable, especially my heels, and after one use they feel 150% better. It was certainly money worth spent. Has anyone else here tried the Ped-Egg and if so, what were your results? Annie

The only thing I bought on the "As Seen on Tv" where those white trays that the metal legs that slip under the couch. I have bunions so do not think the "Ped-Egg" will do any good. I was thinking of getting that spaghetti cooker, and that shoulder bag but I heard the latter was not strong enough for all the stuff I carry around. Now if they had something that can remove bunions without surgery, then I would not mind. Or something that helps you walk on the ice without falling. Sometimes these "as soon on Tv" things are just what the doctor ordered.

I just bought that bag, too, also at CVS in the "As Seen On TV" section. I don't have a whole lot of stuff in it so far but I'll keep you posted as to whether it's strong enough or not. We're going on vacation soon so it will be put to the test then, I'm sure. I also wish they'd have something to help us walk on the ice. When I delivered mail they had these metal things you could clip over your shoes or boots but they dug up people's porches so they didn't work out so well. Annie

Update on the bag - DON'T get it!! The one compartment tore within a few days of using it and the little things I had in it started falling out. Annie

Annie, Thank you, I was wondering about those things. I wanted to get one but $10 can go a long way, but my feet need to be taken care of. I liked the idea of the ped-egg but was not sure how it worked. Glad you got something to pamper you. Ainge

Now they have them with a handle for the same price, I think. That would make it esier for me to get ahold of my left foot in particular, for some reason...lol! Annie

i don't have a ped-eggs and i think the price of them here are so expensive... that's why i don't get them... it certainly worth more than $9.99... i also have a rough and dry feet... but i'm not going to spend lots of money just to get the ped-eggs... i just use moisturiser to moisturise my feet skin and it works wonder as well... take care and have a nice day...

I didn't think $9.99 was too bad as long as it worked and hopefully will last for awhile which I think it should. I also tried using moisturizer on my feet for years and it didn't work so well for me. Annie

I have sensitive feet too so you should be fine. Just do it gently, especially at first and if it hurts at all don't do it in that spot anymore. Annie

I've been wanting to try that. I actually bought a foot file like the "Ped-Egg" from the dollar store. I still haven't used it yet though. Maybe tonight.

Let me know how it works. Was it a lot cheaper than 10 bucks? Annie

I got one of these handy little guys a few months ago and have really been happy with the results. This winter has been particularly harsh on me as far as dry skin and the heels of my feet are one of the worst spots. I keep thinking that the little file thing is going to need to replace soon, but it's holding up pretty well. I used to use a pumice stone in the shower, but they just get so gross after a short time, I really like this so much better. For $10 it really is a good thing.

Hey, that's good to know that they don't wear out real fast! I also tried using the pumice stones but they just didn't do much good for my awful feet, or maybe I was doing it wrong...lol! Annie

I was wondering how this gadget worked. A couple of my clients want to purchase one. I will advise them that you have found it to work quite well. Thank you for the review on this product.

Gee, maybe they should be giving me a percentage of their profits...lol! I was thinking about getting one for a long time since my feet are such a mess, in part because of the years of abuse they took while I was a letter carrier but money was tight and I didn't want to buy one until I knew it would work. I'm glad I finally broke down and got it because my feet feel so much better, both to the touch and comfort-wise. I don't have to be afraid to wear pantyhose now, either, because my feet would literally tear them as soon as I put them on. Annie

I never heard of the Ped-Egg but it sounds like something I should look into. Is it better than a pumice stone? That's what I use and I can't honestly say it's always 100% effetive much less 150% better.

I bought something similar a few months ago, but it is not the "Ped-egg". It still works pretty good though. Mine has a handle. My sister just got one a few weeks ago and she likes hers. I have that rough stuff on the back of my heel and on the side of my big toes.

I bought a Ped-Egg too, although I believe I bought it at Walgreens, and not off of the infomercial, and I agree, it does work pretty good - although mine seems to FALL APART for some reason and all the GUNK falls out. Lmao. Pretty gross if you ask me! =/

I got mine at CVS. I wonder if yours is getting worn out or if you're not snapping it shut all the way? Maybe you could take it back and get a new one for fre...lol? Annie
