hello everybody just curious on when taking medication(if you are ill or a maintenance or whatever)who is that particular person who reminds you always to take the medication on time? or is it you who only without the help of the members of the family..? if so then is there any trick to make you remember that on a certain hour you have to take this and that? in my case i usually put my medicine in the dining table so that i will always remember if i see one that its time to take the med. after eating..especially if its antibiotics...or putting a note on the fridge sometimes if the dosage is not after eating...

Hello vanities! Good day! That would be definitely my parents, if not my parents my loveone. =)) But they rarely remind me doing this because I myself should be responsible for taking my medicines on time. It is for my own good and my parents taught how to take care of myself because in the end no one could help me but myself only. Happy mylotting.

Hi vanities! I have to take medication every single day so I am the one who needs to remember to take them. I try to take them the same time every day so that I will remember. I take them all at the same time even though I'm not really sure that's the way I'm supposed to take them. That is the only way I can remember to take them all so that is the way I have been doing it for awhile now!

I wish someone would remind me! I am grateful taht I don't have any medication that I have to take regularly or I would be forgetting all the time. I often put notes to remind me but tend not to notice them even when they're right in front of my nose grrr and no one ever reminds me either even though I have to be the one reminding everybody when they need medication.

Hi, I am the one in my house to remember the medication. My daughter needs to take a lot of medicine several times a day. She is only 8 years old so obviously won't remember. I have a large container which has 7 smaller containers inside. Each of these containers has the day of the week written on them. Each day of the week also has 4 separate compartments for different times of the day. This is handy so tablets don't get mixed up or forgotten. If they are accidentally forgotten (very rarely) I can see which ones were missed. It is a very handy tool especially if I want to go out for the day with my dd. I can just select the box for today and pop it in my bag, no need to take boxes of pills out with us.

Hi vanities.. This discussion remind me that I have to take now my antibiotics. I tend to forget taking my medication or maybe Im just so lazy to take it or i just dont like the taste. My boyfriend is the one who keeps on reminding me. When I got sick, he will call me after every after four hours while he's at work or sometimes I put a reminder on my cellphone that repeats every day at the same time.

Both my husband and I take several medications each. So far we have each been able to take our own properly. The only time either of us need reminded is when we are starting a new medication. We keep our medications seperate, and each of us has our meds in a container near our table. If it is a medication not taken daily, such as my husbands bone density medication, it will be laid out on the table as a reminder. As I said, when we are starting a new medication we read all instructions carefully, noting when and how each should be taken. Most of the bottle will have little stickers giving information such as taking with or without food.

The only medication I am on at the moment is a gel for my wrist, torn ligament. I have to apply it 4 times a day. So I just make a mental note as to what time I have to do it, and I leave the tube laying on my nightstand, right by the clock. The only other medication is a pain pill and I only take that at night, so not hard to remember. Just leaving out medication, so as to be visible, is enough reminder for me.

Hello vanities, Normally again, it is me. I am the one in the house who take note of every thing. If my hubby or son gets sick, I will remind them when to take their medicine. If it's me, I have to clearly remember to take my own medicine.

Hello! I don't forget to take medicines in time or I don't need anybody's help to remind me.But I avoid to take medicines too much for any problems in my health. My wife knows this very well.So she reminds and insists me to take medicines. She is my caretaker after my mother.thanx.

It was my mother when I was a kid and now it is my wife who reminds me of my medicines when I have to go for medications. Now even though my wife cares,I use to put on a reminder in my cellphone so that I will get a second care.Cheers!

I take medication regularly after meals. My husband cares about his. We seldom forget as it has been part of our diet. The issue is when we are out traveling. In such a case, I would pack them in a little plastic container, with three compartments, so that we need not take all the medicines with us. It is a very smart invention, convenient to take along during travel.

I am on a twice daily pill for heartburn, that I have to take on an empty stomach. Annoying, since I usually wake up in the morning hungry. I've ended up taking them a couple hours after I eat, and one more just before I go to bed at night. They are really really helping, thank goodness.
