Can you modify the discussions you've started?

I'm just curious if one who has started a discussion can still modify or change some words in it after it's submitted? Or can it be deleted?

I don't see where you can modify it or change anything. I looked after I posted something because I was thinking of deleting it, but I think once you hit the post button that's it. The mods will delete it if it is against their guidelines. That's all I know.
