Well, when you come to my hometown, Shenyang city, you must never miss the botany garden, which is only a 30-minute drive eastward from the downtown. I promise that you'll have a great time there. The botany garden is a mass of greenland, which consists of millions of plant species, such as scores kinds of roses, pine trees, bushes. You can either take a lovely walk following the zigzag stone-paved pathes, or sit on the wooden beds having your picnic. Occasionally, you may catch a glimpse of squirrels jumping around from one tree to another. If you are lucky enough, it may approach you, and you can feed the little creature. Off course, many other activities are optional such as rock climing, funny bridges crossing and so on.
