Take a Bite out of PETA petition http://www.consumerfreedom.com/article_detail.cfm/article/154 Now, The PETA debate is to give us your reason for PETA Organization to lose non profit status or to keep it. I say they should lose it, because they steal pets from shelters and dog shops to murder them and show up dressing like the KKK at dog shows harassing dog breeders and supporting acts of terrorism, like bombing science shops etc... But on the other hand they did do alot of good to stop torturing and mistreatment of animals.... But I do not understand why they turn the other way and kill animals, and cut fences, and want to ban pet ownership... for everyone... - DNatureofDTrain

Several years ago, I was walking past a protest put on by PETA organizers. One of the protesters started throwing things (not sure what, since I was on the other side of the street) at a blind man's guide dog, screaming about how dogs are not slaves. Luckily a good samaritan that was closer, helped the poor man and dog get away from the protester. I contacted PETA the next day, about the incident. The individual I spoke with started praising the efforts of the protester - because if the dog felt threatened, it would attack the blind man. I slammed the phone down. I have a few friends who are disabled and have dogs that help them. I can tell you stories of how well these dogs are taken care of, how they live better lives than many people. Unfortunately, groups like PETA refuse to listen & will only promote their own agenda, true or not.

Some people are just nuts.....But animals do need someone to help them. THey clearly can't speak up for themselves or protect themselves from horrible slaughter house fates. I think animals and humans should be helped equally. FOr example, it's been proven that pigs have the same intelligence and social bonds as 3 year old children. Would you want a 3 year old child grabbed by their legs and slammed head first into a cement floor would you? I very much hope not.

I agree that animals definately Need someone to help them.. I do stand up for animals.. but I dare not associate myself with any animal rights activist group I ever had encountered.. They go to the extremes.. - DNatureofDTrain

Me too, I can not stand animal abuse of cruelty to animals .. But there is some good news on that now... Legally they are tightening things up in regards to this. FBI Now Tracks Animal Abuse Just Like Homicides, Arson and Assault
Because if you abuse animals, there's a chance you abuse people, too.
