Hello people, I am 23 year old from New Delhi, India and I am starting to get a little concerned about my bulging tummy. It is nothing alarming as yet because at the max it would be 36 inches right now. But, I want to do my best in order to reduce it. I have tried a few exercises on my own but I was not very sure about whether I was taking the right course so I dropped them down midway through. Please suggest me a few tried and tested exercises so that I can work my way to a more healthier, smarter personality. Thanks

Hello friend. I am an athletic trainer and the best advice I can give to you is to make sure you eat 5 small meals a day for a faster metabolism. Also know how many calories you need to take in for body fat reduction. Make sure to do 30-40 min of cardio 4-5 times a week alond with 3 days of weight training. Doing 1000 crunches a day will not give somebody a 6 pack. You have to reduce the bodyfat on top of the abs. Let me know if I can help!

I recommend P90X. It is a little hard to do, but trust me, it made me lose 4 inches in one month. I downloaded it from mininova dot com. The name of the exercise is Ab Ripper X. You can see the fantastic results of the people who did the exercise in youtube. Go to Youtube dot com and type P90x results. See how these people transformed their bodies using the exercise program. You can also download the exercise program from limewire.

36 inches is quite alarming already. Do the leg pull. Lay down on a flat surface. Position your arms flat on the surface too just beside your hips. With feet together, pull them slowly up 90 degrees then down again. Repeat the procedure until you can't make it anymore. You will notice your abs will get hard day by day.

Hi, you don't look flabby in your pic, by the way. :-) I do have the same problem. I think my tummy is not proportional to my body. Although I am really chubby, I still think my tummy is way too big for my stature. Maybe because I usually fall asleep after eating. LOL I was advised not to do sit-ups because of my scoliosis too so I guess the best way for me is to really go on a diet.
