to work again! The company I work for as an independent contractor was sold to people who work for the company in Baltimore, Maryland. They have a new name. And we will only be getting paid once a month instead of bi-weekly. But HEY whatever keeps me working from home! Would you work as an independent contractor? Have you? How did it work out?

Congratulations on being able to go back to work. Send me a message and let me know the name of the company. I would like to check it out. It might be something I would be interested in.

I live in Baltimore, mind sharing the name of the company? I was an IC for a company that routed calls to my home phone and it allowed me to place orders for things that they saw on infomercials. It was alot of fun and I was happy to be working from home. Unfortunately there were lots of cut backs and alot of people were let go. Congratulations on getting back to work!

i worked as an independent cooking consultant for about 10 years, it had its up and downs like any company. taxes SUCK. i finally quit them last year, it just wasn't worth it anymore and i wanted my weekends back. apparently there are companies you can temp through that do the same thing i did, who knew!

admire you so much. It is always good to be an independent contract. The big freedom you have is very valuable.
