has metallica lost there touch?

Yeah I agree I dont really care for there new stuff but there old stuff especially the Black cd I love it yeah what happen to them they really changed there style of music never knew why but I don't like it Metalica come back the way u used to be

They never lost their touch, they just accidentally created one of the best Metal albums through all times 20 years ago. People still seem to have that expectation of Metallica, I feel bad for them. They are a great band, but obviously can't do anything as good again. I just think people need to realize the music business is changing as fast as fashion. Just look at Iron Maiden and In Flames, their "old stuff" was so much better. But I bet that if they kept playing the same "old stuff" over and over again on every new CD you would get bored with them. Complain about how they never manage to break out of their cycle and develop their sound. Metallica has don a great job developing their own sound and have produced a lot of great albums. Personally it's only their cover albums I dislike. Everything else is gold.

I respect Metallica and always will. They are amazing musicians but I feel like all their stuff sounds the same, and then not only that they drag the song on and on. I like some of their songs, Inter Sandman and afew others, but I think they are done. Just tour with the old stuff...They don't need anything new
