Samsung is planning to release a phone called "Bule Earth" in 2nd half of the 2009 in U.K... http://www.electronista.com/articles/09/02/12/samsung.blue.earth.handset/... A lot of questions has been raised, especially due to power comsumption rate on touch screen phones... Any thoughts or opinions?

hey.....that sounds good.....i didn't know about it, but I'll be waiting for the release now.....though i might not buy it...i think such a thing will be costly..
and yes, a lot of questions will be raised....but its good that someone is making the effort..
have a nice day..

Looks cool and it is a first! I like how people are trying to be more enviromental
but what happens when the phone is in the dark... or does it keep the energy
stored?I don't know... I don't think this is going be a popular phone but maybe it will
be when they rerelease it with better functions and fix the mistakes they make with
this one.

If that is solar powered, I would definitely trade my phone for that one. I'm not a hard-core cellphone user. It acts as a modem for me because our wonderful phone company here in the Philippines cannot cater to my neighborhood. But having a phone that is solar powered, I mean, that is so cool! ^-^
