In this fast world that we are in people dont seem to find the beauty of waiting. Many complain of things that took so long for them to get what they wanted. But i believe that for those who knows how to wait then, great thins will come.

I have to agree with you. As my mom used to say, "Patience is a virtue." And I find that it's true. I believe that the best things in life take time to achieve, to obtain. It won't necessarily arrive the next morning. But it will arrive sooner or later. I believe in what my mom used to tell me about patience. As a child I didn't understand what she meant, but I certainly do now.

Hi Zelmarq! "Patience is a virtue" and I do believe that it depends upon the situation one is in. In this time and age, mostly everyone is aggressive in climbing the ladder of success and others just work hard and wait for an opportunity to come along that will change their life for the better. Personally, at this age of mine I learned to be cautious and patient. I learned to wait and see if things will be better or not before I take arms and fight for what I want. I learned to be patient and not to rush into things that sometimes gets me into trouble. I weigh things over and patiently wait for the opportune time for me to act upon what needs to be done. Just my thoughts! take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

It is a common discipline in waiting, especially for those who had done lots of effort to their utmost level and had faith in their soul to reach the truth. What is faith?. Faith is simple dream and an instance on small miracles. What is truth?. Truth is self evident. Worth it for waiting when these two (2) elements embedded to the bottom of one's heart.

your discussion is thoughtful,we are living in a fast world and all tend to be in a quick pace now,but still we need to keep our patience for somethings, fast speed for everything is not a good thing

Yo have hit upon a big problem in society today. From instant messages to instant news on cable news channels, we want everything right now. No body wants to study or work toward something. They want everything right now. Where is the feeling of accomplishment in that? Patience is a virtue which teaches us to wait and learn how and when the time will be right to find and get sucess.

Waiting in patience for good things to dawn is often distressful. The feeling is at times tortuous. After all who could predict exactly that it is worth waiting for the best to usher in?

I think that is true. If you just wait patiently, you'll get what you want. Based on experience, I've waited for 3 years to get this job that I have now. Well, I also tried and tried until I succeeded.hehe But I guess waiting is just not enough, you should also work hard to get what you want.
