Well, do you?! It seems that a lot of people are making a big fuss about this day and honestly, I don't really mind it. I'm just curious to know if everyone has the same notion about this day. Me and my boyfriend don't really celebrate this day. We're going out tomorrow because it just so happened that it falls on the day that we normally go out for a date. But nothing really special, no fancy dinners or gifts. How about you, do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Why or why not? Thanks! :)

Good discussions you have started. But the thing which i have to say his i don't have any girl friend so normally i wont go any where for Valentine's day.If i have girl friend also i wont take her for outing as i don't like to move with crowds . I might gift her something or take care for lunch to the maximum . Happy Valentine's Day

Well with me and my man, not really... He does not hardly buy me anything.. So, I won't be surprised that he does not give me a gift.. With his philosophy on life, he believes in celebrating Valentine's Day everyday.. This day is considered an everyday day for him. But, I love when he gives me gifts on any day.

Me and girl we especially like to enjoy this occasion. She says it's a day that we are supposed to spend time together and show each others love and affection to one and another. She don't like flowers so much but I buy her chocolates usually. I try to make her as happy as I can on this occasion and if I don't she yells at me lol. Guess what, She works all day on valentines too bad for me huh... tehe.

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day in a special way, all we do is share with little cute presents and love notes. It's tradition. But we share with the love notes in any day actually, so Valentine's Day is just "one more day" for us. This time we will go out and have a fun with friends, one of our friend is leaving country for a longer time and we all want to go a bit wild before he leaves!

hi icecroft, my dear friend, i think that everyone enjoys on this day. be it at home or ut , or in a party , or going on a ong drive, whatever, i mean, everyone has its own way, you know. well, yes, we also ccelebrate, but it is very different. we sometimes just sit at home dnt go out, or sometimes go out on a long drive, have lunch or dinner or whatever, out and come back hug each other and go to sleep.

Yeah, my hubby and I still celebrate it! Although it's not really that grand as t were when we were yet sweethearts but we still do. I still receive roses from him and he still dine out during the night as our date. We are not really making it a big deal at all but I guess we just get used to do it every year.

Me and my Girl friend don't really celebrate this Holiday because she hates it for some odd reason... I buy her something anyways she gets happy and it's all good but last year she kind of got mad that I got her something because she really hates it. It is kind of weird but this year it was all good I got her a box of chocolates and a ring and she was happy with it. It really isnt a really big Holiday people still go to work and do everything like they normally would... It seems to be dieing every year I really don't know why.

I dont really see the point. You could make every day a Valentines Day. Its mainly just a reminder to care more. enjoy your day though -D

i try to maintain so smeblance of balance in my life by celebrating some holidays and not celebrating some. i like valentine's day because it gives me a chance to express my feelings a little more than usual. and i find that most women like to receive flowers and candy if dor no other reason that it is a form of appreciation. this holiday i am deeply hurt because i purposefully postponed a trip to be with a lady i like a lot and told her so and she went and choose to work on that day. i feel like she does not care for me to any degree because curtesy is tantamount to respect. and if i sacrificed for her she should have sacrificed for me. i am deeply hurt by this and i beleive this is the beginning of the end of our friendship. because i wand to feel wanted and appreciated also.

I agree with you. I also don't give a fuss about the "v" day. But unlike you, my boyfriend disagrees with me. We had an argument last night about this topic. He's so very emotional about my stand on VALENTINES day. For him, it is a very special day especially now that it is our 2nd year together. He's freaking emotional about it. He always calls me to ask me what's our plans for the valentines. The day before the v day, he greeted me 4x "advanced happy valentines". For the past years, I've been ignoring this day. Thinking that it is just one of those ordinary days. That will not change even if I'm with him already.

Hmm.. Not really. Well, I personally haven't celebrated it with my boyfriend, but our family usually goes out that day. Nothing really fuzzy, we just like to spend time together.

i really do not put much, if any, emphasis on this holiday. to me it is a commercial holiday jut to make more money and it amazes me how many people fall for it probably out of guilt. for instance if they do not get something for their loved one they feel guilty so they go out and buy something they probably do not even want or need. it is a waste of money. people do not need this to know you love them.
