when you're at work or when you're busy in the kitchen, do you let your child watch tv alone (or perhaps with a nanny)? do you trust the nannies you hire to make sound decisions regarding which shows to watch? do you think it is alright to allow children to watch tv alone when you're somewhere else?

as far as I am concerned,it depends how old the child is,if he is too young to watch TV or have difficulty in distinguish what proper to see what dose not.then I would not let him watch TV,if he is old enough to know what is good and what is bad,we should just trust him and let him do what he wants

there are programs which require parental guidance, among many other ratings, which means different programs can be watched by certain age groups as long as parents are present. would you allow your 10 year old to watch a program that's, say, PG 18, simply because he is old enough to know what's good or bad? feel free to share your views. thanks for posting! )
