Good morning all. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else. I got my ears pierced when I was 9 and never had any problems with them. After I had my first child my gold hoops I usually had in my ears started to hurt my ears. I put it off to pregnacy and left them out. My hubby bought me a pair of 18k gold diamond studs...paid a fortune for them....I put them in my ears and my ears started to BURN...and turn bright red. I have tried sterling silver and no nickle ones, I just tried a pair of surgical steel ones and They still burned. What is wrong with my ears....I really love to wear earrings but haven't been able to for 8 years....Any suggestions...PLEASE

The holes would have just started to close up once you left them out. now the holes will be too narrow for your earrings and thats why its hurting. You need to either force your earrings through which i have to do often and just deal with the pain for an hour or so. Or just go get them re-pierced

No its not that at all, like I said I have had them pierced since I was 9, I'm now 29. The holes themselves are fine. It is almost like an allegic reaction. But I have tried every different type of earrings and they all seem to do the same....And I have left them in for houurs and it burns the whole time....And they just get redder and redder!!!!Not pleasent!!!Thanks for the response
