Father at 12???

Where is the world going? I have just read that a 13 year boy in UK has become a father and the mother is 15!
"Alphie Patten, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7LB 3oz Maisie Roxanne."
He said "I thought it would be good to have a baby."
"I didn't think about how we would afford it. I don't really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me 10 pounds"

He cant afford for baby. Maintaining and bringing up a child is not an easy task. That boy doesn't have enough age and knowledge to take care of baby. I think he will have hard time ahead. Any way baby may face lot of problems for the sake of this little father and mother. Its very stupid thing. This was happen because there is no guidance from little father's parents.

I doubt they will ever be able to raise the baby, it will all be up to their own parents.

i met many young people in england on the internet who are having kids. one girl is 14 and her bf is 15, and they have 2 babies and 2 pets. the boy works full time, trying to support the family, and i think they live with his parents. but the girl is an orphan and doesnt have a family.
