Antique Toy Car?

Antique Toy Car - I don't know much about this, just hoping someone knows who made these and when.

I could have started this discussion in questions and answers, but I thought I might have better luck here. I posted the picture on the "Photos for Antiques" because I obviously don't know what I'm doing. Anyway, I'd really like to know if there's anyone out there that knows anything about this toy car (atleast that's what I'm calling it for now). I would like to fix it up but I have no idea where to look to replace a tire on the back right of it. All four tires have hubs, and each one says P and S on them. However, I can't find anything about a P and S company or anything. Once again, if anyone knows anything about this I would really appreciate knowing a little more about it. Thank You!

I have no idea where you would go to find a tire but they must be the same size that fitted millions of kiddies pressed steel tricycles of that era. They are solid rubber with a sort of spring inside so that, with a lot of effort, you can just about stretch them over the rim. I have to say I have NEVER seen anything like that machine! I guess that you steer it with your feet while working the handle back and forth to turn the crank on the back axle. Wooo! I wish I had've had one when I was a kid ... but wait! There are no brakes. What about when you get to the top of a hill? The handle is going so fast that it slips out of your hands and catches you one (or several) on the chin. That makes you lose control of your legs and the next you know you are off the road and upside down in the ditch!
