Spring Training is right around the corner, and baseball season will officially start in only 2 short months. There are many questions this season like: Which team will Manny play for?, Are the Yankees going to choke again with all the players they have got this year?, How are the Phillies going to do this year as defending World Champs?, Can the Rays have another season like last?, How will A-Rod play this year with all the steroid contraversy?, Will the Cubs finally break the curse?, and many more. So the question is, who else is excited?

I'll be ready and my only question will the Indians get it together to have a good season? I believe in my mind they have a chance to win the division but I got a bigger question, can they win it all? Just would like to see it happen once. I would not mind seeing a Cubs/Indians World Series as you could really build that up big time.

I hope the Indians can get it together. Last year was really disappointing. A Cubs/Indians World Series would be great for the game. However, I'm going to be greedy and hope for a Braves/Indians World Series. That is a win win situation for me.

I am a die hard Tigers fan. However, if they can 't do it, the indians really deserve it. Of course, if it were a indans/cubs world series, I would have to root for the cubs just because they also have never won even though they came close. Also what ever team Mike Hargrove is on, I would like to see that team win, I think he's with Baltimore. I can't believe the indians fired him after he took them so close to the world series.

Last team I recall Mike Hargrove being on would be the Seattle Mariners but I think he retired from being a manager. I never understood why he got the boot in the first place. To this day, I am still scratching my head. He did manage Baltimore. I do believe if the Cubs got in, they'd be favored over the Indians because of the Cleveland nature. I'd like to see them go all the way because it would be nice to see them win at least one World Series. It sucks since they haven't won since 1948.

Me!!! I am always excited about baseball season. Bexause it's so hard to repeat, the Phillys will probably do good, but not go to the world series. I think it really is possible that the Detroit Tigers will at least make the playoffs. I know they won't end up in last place again. But you never know. Maybe it will be the Royals turn this year. I wish Manny would come to the Tigers, but they proba bly couldn't afford him anyway.

I couldn't believe the Tigers had such a terrible season last year. They were one of my preseason favorites to win the World Series. I guess thats just the way baseball goes. It is hard to believe they will have two bad seasons in a row with all the talent they have.

I can't wait for baseball season to start. I'm mostly excited about fantasy baseball starting. That is one of my favorite games to play. I'm hoping the Braves staff will keep healthy this year and that we can be buyers instead of sellers at the trade deadline this year. I guess I got spoiled in the 90s. Its time for a new year though, and I can't wait!

As a Braves fan, I'm extremely excited. The last few seasons have been disappointing and last year Braves fans had high hopes but things just fell apart with all the injuries to the pitching staff. But I think things will be different this year. Even though John Smoltz went to the Red Sox, the Braves were still able to acquire a couple of quality veteran pitchers in Lowe and Vasquez and the new pitcher from Japan seems to be creating most of the buzz right now in Atlanta. The bullpen looks like it will be solid as well. I hope the Braves can bring one more division title...and maybe the World Series as well...back to Atlanta before manager Bobby Cox retires. Cox has had one heck of a baseball career, especially as a manager and how many more years he will be out there yelling at the umpires and kicking dirt is something only Bobby knows for sure. When he does hang it up it will be a bitterseet day in Atlanta. But as for now...bring on the boys of summer.

There is NO curse on the Cubs team,or any other team. The reality of baseball is that you can go to the playoffs for the next 20 years stright & still not make it to the world series.

i dont get why manny is being so greedy i mean he got offered a boat load of money and all he would have to do is play one year and if hes unhappy after the year he can leave whats better then that, dont even get me started on a-rod plays for my team and i dont think there's a player on my team that i dislike more then him and that was without all the steroid stuff all the money he gets and when you need him he shrivels up and withers away i really thought last year was the year for the cubs they seemed to be the best team in the NL all year then poof gone like the wind but my favorite thing about basebakll season means winter is about over whoo-hoo bring on the spring
