This $787 billion dollar Stimulus Bill has officially been passed by the Senate 60 to 38 according to Fox News. We will see in the future if this will stimulate the economy or be a disaster to the United States and the rest of the world. It is not looking good for the future as many people will be out of jobs and the unemployment rate could hit 10% as early as 6 months. President Obama can sign this bill as early as next week. This will be the highest stimulus bill in the history of the United States and one of the most important and riskiest. Under President Bush, they passed a similar bill and it did not help the economy at all and that is why no republicans would vote for it.

I don't think this package will do much. They lost sight of the goal and squeezed in an endless list of pork just to get votes. Plus added a ton of stuff of Obama's campaign promised projects. It's a complete mess now. Even worse, it's now being said that not our grandkids or even our kids will pay for this, but we'll see an extreme tax hike latest after the next election because there is no other way to pay off the debt our nation will incur because of this. Politicians live too much in the now and should start to think about the future. It's gotten insane with the spending.

Well they flew in that moron Sherrod Brown so he could hurry up and vote on it. That moron should be fired TODAY. He's flying in to blindly vote on a bill when he hasn't even seen PAGE ONE of the thing. This is the most disgusting farce in the history of our country.
