Today I met a 17 year old kid whose mother is 37 and father is 87... yes EIGHTY SEVEN YEARS OLD, there are fifty years between them. Normally I don't have a big problem with age differences in adults, but fifty years??? What do you think?

Wow. o-o I guess I can say that it's okay as long as they love each other, but there are so many things to consider... what happens when the older person passes away? That would hurt so much, and you know it's going to happen. Not to mention the effect it would have on the children. My mother was 40 when she had me, and we're a world apart. It's really hard for us to relate to one another because of our age difference.

Yes, I can see what you are saying. My mom was 23 when she had me, so we are much closer in age! Thanks for responding

My aunt had my cousin with a man 40 years older than her. I see nothing wrong as long as they love each other and want a child. my cousin is 18 now and her dad is 90 and her mom is 50.
