Talk about irony, see this latest offering from the "religion of peace":
http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/024821.php
In 2004, Muzzammil Hassan founded Bridges TV, an islamic TV network. He supposedly got the idea from his wife who was concerned about the negative image that muslims had in the west in the aftermath of terror attacks committed by muslims. So the islamic TV network in America was to improve the negative image of muslims and show that they are a peace loving people who are not violent.
Well on February 13, Mr. Hassan chopped his wife's head off. Way to lead by example! Apparently Mrs. Hassan wanted a divorce. This happened in the Buffalo NY area, you can read about it in the local paper here:

Mrs. Hassan (37) had an order of protection against Mr. Hassan, but it did not help her when he decided to CUT HER HEAD OFF.

I didn't realize that Bridges was in Buffalo. I found it a couple of months ago and watch it from time to time. I can't tolerate it for very long, it's all over the place propaganda.
I suspect they had a lot of fights about what should be shown on their television channel. I wonder what will happen to it now. I'll be checking in, that's for sure.

I'm surprised the new President hasn't gone on that station to "apologize" for America yet.

I'm going to write to the television stations and see if they will investigate the Mosque he went to. I think it's time we have an Undercover Mosque program of our own here in the U.S.

Hey, I have a thing for Redheads, muslims have a thing for BEheads....
It's kinda Funny really, that Mohammad's wife thought that her (illiterate)husband was possessed by Satan when was writing the Koran. I tend to agree with her.

Right from the pages of Gnosisquest, I could see him finding an article like this and posting the details.
You better becareful, your head (account) could be removed like his for posting inflammatory religious biased material against the Islamic faith and Muslims in general. Aren't you afeared?
Seriously though, one of my concerns would be the domestic violence proliferation and escalation of violence through provocation. I should read the article for more details of how he got so close to his wife in order to violate the PFA... You know this subject is very close and dear to my heart.
I've been the victim of several contrived accusations, and I don't like being perceived in a negative light because other men, (Christian and Muslim) they can not control their emotions.
I would like to know if the same would be as appalling to you when a woman makes terroristic threats or does things to incite violence?
Women have no right to create a hostile atmosphere, the truth should always be followed and those that are not being honest certainly should be held to a level of accountability or denied their petitions.
I'm going to come back and read that article, later... These are just a few of my thoughts on your discussion and the view that I am going to take when evaluating this information.
Expect another response in a little while...

Kitty, I challenge to think, really think, what might happen in America if the hard-line fundamentalist Christians took over in Washington.

If there's one thing I've learned in my 65 years, it's never argue with somebody's prejudices. Have a good day.

There isn't a snowball's chance in hell of that happening anytime within the next 4 years.
ALL religious extremists perplex, enrage and annoy me, but the fanatical muslims seem to take it to a whole other level (I'm taking about modern times).

My Irish ancestors were oppressed and enslaved and nearly starved out of existence by the british not so much due to their religion as it was due to the fact that england liked exploiting what was never theirs to take.
Islam is getting so much attention because they are removing people's heads, and blowing themselves up along with anyone else they seek to attack.

No matter how we will say that this is not about their religion, many people will still equate this to the Muslim community. I am not one of them but I have some peace-loving Muslim friends and it makes me sad how this recent happening will again affect many people's view about Muslims. I hope many of us here at myLot will discuss this with sensitivity so as not to flame others.

There is no room for "sensitivity" when it comes to people who think chopping somebody's head off is actually a good idea!
