Hi All, we all are living in a very fast moving and busy world. because of our busy schedule we have hardly any time for ourselfs. For the married one's its just the work, wife and children and relatives. for the not so called lucky one's(batchelor's) its just the work/study and friendships and all those unseasonal overnight parties. but, while going to work or returning from work or may be at some where we see someone asking for help. whether it might be moneytary or something else like giving a ride or asking for directions ... so, my question to all the My Lottians here when was the last time you had helped someone which you still remember the most?

Hi sunil! I'm actually involved in several charities. I bought gifts for an underpriviledged family at Christmas time and then donated money for a coworker who was in the hospital recovering from surgery. I give to a charity called United Way and participated in a fundraiser for cancer research. This weekend I'm sending my daughter to babysit for a friend of mine that's in a bind. I also lend an ear to a certain friend that really needs it without the mouth..lol..Nice discussion!

Hi you are indeed doing some fantastic works. well all i can say is keep going with them and am sure rewards are high even if you won'task for them...since you have been involved with some charities too. so how do you manage your time for all that. kids, family, work and all these charity thing...

It's tough. I'm very busy but I like it that way. The charities are not an everyday thing so I schedule around those. I work 40 hrs a week sometimes more. I have a daughter in girl scouts so once a week I have that and sometimes they have activities extra like food drives and lockins. My other one was a cheerleader until this year and she wanted a break so that's one less thing I'm doing this year. She's decided to go back to doing it though so next year gymnastics, practices, and games will be added to my list.lol..Thank goodness for carpooling. My time on mylot is my time. It's not regular but it's often..lol..I just have to schedule. I have a rule that if bedrooms and housework isn't finished..we don't go so that encourages the girls to help me with that. My b/f helps me out alot with cooking and some cleaning.

Hi it seems like you have indeed a busy schedule going on and you won't have an easy time ahead also. i want to join some charity group but because of work load and and other activities i hardly manage time for anything else...whenever i get some spare time i love sitting over computer and googling things...hope this won't continue for rest of my life.

Well we are helping my boyfriends sister out a lot lately. We borrowed her one of our vehicles because she is having problems it hers and we also paid her electric for her so it wouldn't be shut off. Does those things count?

Can't say I ever have. I live in a very small town so everyone pretty much knows everyone. But I do try to help anyone that ever asks for it.
