Another big time sports star in the media for taking a illegal substance. This time its A-Rod. So it was an illegal substance but no a banned substance so can you blame them? If you were given a chance to take a substance and it lead to you getting a 220 million contract would you not do it? Also look at it on the other side its always about impressing people. So they are human to. I wake up many days and cant just give it everything. These guys are expected of it. Do I agree with it now that major league baseball banned it no. They shouldnt take it but before 2003 it wasnt banned. I dont agree that these guys lied to the the authorities or in interviews. Thats the bad part about it. If they did it come clean and move on. If you played a game where cheating was allowed you would cheat. Than when it isnt you stopped. Just give them a break. What is your take on this??

With all the money at stake I can't believe more of them aren't doing it. Then again probably many more are that we just don't know about. Baseball is the one that really gets me though. Not because they do it but because of how hypocritical the league is. They knew what was going on, I think even promoted it in the Sosa and McGuire era and really they don't do anything to punish the people even when they do catch them.
