My husband cuts the grass. He wants me to do it, since I am a SAHM now, but I told him no way. I do most everything else, and I am not getting into that job too.

I'm lucky. I don't have to mow the lawn, becase I don't own lawn. I think it is a job men should do. After all men don't do much around the house.

I am a 62 year old widow. Yes, I mow when my legs and shoulder or rhe lawn mower aren't acting up. I rather enjoy it. I have always been one for outside work even when I worked a lot of 16 hour days in a truck stop. In this town where I live in Kansas there seems like when I ask the people who do mowing to make money they don't want to do mine. I guess my money is not good enough for them.

How rude that they won't mow your lawn,I think that's disgusting. At least you enjoy mowing the lawn somewhat

Yep, I tend to start the mowing. Hubbie works the arvo shift so he isn't home when it is cooler to mow. But if he is home when I start mowing, he normally comes out and helps.

No, that is something that I refuse to do. We have quite a bit of area around my house, if I even attempted to mow this lawn, I am sure I would need to be put on 'bed rest' when and if I finished the job. I have two very strong kids, that can do that job, me I will just continue taking care of the rest of the house...SS

I usually mow the lawn. We have a rider, so it is really easy, and does not take long.

Yes, I do mow the lawn. My husband is terrible when he mows it. He even misses bits and I rather do it myself. I also do the edging and the rest of the garden. For some reason they just dont have the passion like we do when it comes to gardens and lawns.

Thank you my friend, yes he is the man of the house. He does the "manly" jobs eg: lawns and putting the bins out.I'm very proud of how he looks after his mum :).I would have been very upset to be in your position....those men need to help you out!

I mow the lawn...and weed...and edge...and trim the bushes...and prune. I do the yardwork. I don't mind doing the yard work. It is good exercise and helps to tire me out. This past summer, my partner mowed 2 times. That's it!!!

We don't have a lawn right now. But in my 35 years of life I have mowed one lawn. I went to my in-law's in Michigan two years ago, and that was the first lawn I mowed. It was a riding mower so it was easy. I have so much fun doing it.
