I have two best friends, strangely enough. I met one of them when I was married, he was my husband's friend and we became very close like brother and sister. Later, his girlfriend left him and her best friend half a country away was his confidant and comfort. I was very close to both women. When his long-distance friendship turned into love they were married. Now my two best friends are married to each other and it is just great--one phone call and I can talk to both of them! Unfortunately, I moved far away and we only see each other occasionally but we phone often.

I met my best friend when we were 7 or 8 years old. We were both shy and we had the same vibe. After we met we sent some time together and then more and more. After a while we realised that we were best friends.

She was my schoolmate. I can't recall exactly how we met but I can remember that after being introduced, we are always turning to each other for help and companionship. It's kind of 'it just fits in'. The friendship extended when we worked in the same company for three years. She then moved to another country after marrying a non-Filipino and that made us to communicate less and less. However, we always see and catch up with each others life every time she's back in the Philippines.
