Nothing frustrates me more then seeing in the news someone suing someone else for the dumbest reason! Suing mcdonalds cause your fat from eating it. Well would you sue the grocery stores becuase you're fat? Becuase they are the ones providing you with food? Hows that fair? Does this bug anyone else or is it only me.. andddd.. whats the craziest story youve heard so far about someone suing another person for a dumb reason.. what was this dumb reason?

Everyone is trying to make some easy money. The best way to make some money is by suing someone for the most dumbest reason ever. Like suing McDonalds for making you are fat. The main problem with these corporations is that they cannot afford bad publicity so they will try to settle with the plaintiff. That is where the people make their money. The people who sue them know about this and though they dont get the price they ask for they get something. That something is still enough for them to live by. That is how this whole thing goes down. They hope that the corporations will settle away from a court.

I know, this kind of thing drives me nuts too. Suing McDonalds?...yeah right, like they didn't have a choice to stay away lol. Were they forced to eat a Big Mac with a double sized fries and the largest milkshake on the menu?! Instead of suing McD's they should take their own responsibility for their eating habits. The sad thing is that there are probably more opportunists just waiting in the wings to think up something they can sue somebody else for. You know, all this stuff really started way back when the lady who spilled the hot coffee on her lap at the fast food place. Back then, most people who sued did it because of true negligence that caused harm, or from purposeful harm, not from an accident they caused themselves by handling their hot coffee wrong. Now they sue for everything and anything, even when it's their own fault. What I can't believe is that a judge would reward them for their own ignorance. It's so bad that they have to put 'do not use in tub or shower' on the new hair dryers...really...could anybody be THAT low in common sense??!! (And if they were, they probably couldn't read the warning there anyways!)

I think that people who sue other people for stupid reasons are just trying to get money out of whoever they are suing. True Mcdonald's can make you fat, anyone who eats there knows this, you can taste the grease in some of the food, like french fries. If your going to eat anywhere, or get any kind of food, you have to be aware of the fat content. Mcdonald's puts the fat content on their boxes, and on their website. Oh well, some people will do anything for money. As for dumb lawsuits, I can't think of any offhand, although whoever said that about Lindsay Lohan, i wonder if it is true.

I've worked in the legal field for a long time, so nothing surprises me about the litigous society we've been living in. I think I remember a guy suing God because his life didn't turn out the way he wanted or something like that. Of course the case was thrown out of court but it just goes to show that people take no responsibility for their actions and can blame somebody else and try to make money off of it.

Oh wow! I just responded to two discussions yesterday similar to this. A British mother and a teenage girl suing Disney land because the teenage girl had a heart attack and stroke after riding a heart pumping, mind freezing, ride. It is some kind of a tall tower. They are asking Disney to pay them 10,000 pounds. Another discussion that I have responded to is about a man who threw things and went wild because his cellphone can no longer be fixed. He threw things on the mobile technician. Sick people!
