I colored my hair burgandy yesterday. I'd done it before years ago and my husband really liked it, so I did it yesterday for Valentine's day. It looks nice, a good change from the lighter color which I'd had since summer time. I really like it. So here's a pic so everyone can see how it turned out.
Do you ever change your hair color, or do you color it the same thing all the time? How often do you try something different? Have you ever colored your hair burgandy?

Oh, aren't you so pretty! I love the colour of your hair. Hair is so important isn't it? If our hair looks good then we feel good no matter what our age. My hair is coloured, it used to be a very dark mahogany brown with natural reddish highlights. Obviously I am gray so I colour my hair with light ash brown. This covers the grays but makes it just a bit too dark so twice a year I get blond highlights in and I love it. Then I just do the roots.
My hair is very thick and I wear it exactly like my avi. I change my style but I do not really change the colour as I do not want it too dark at my age as it would make me look older. God post Kat.

The style is not something I change too often. I've never found a style that works right for me. Normally when I decide I want a new style, I end up going far too short, and that just looks awful on me.
The next thing I plan on doing to my hair is getting a perm. I've always liked the way I look with a perm, but haven't had one in years.

I ended up with burgundy hair once before. I am not sure if I really liked it or not. It was about 10 years ago. I used to dye my hair once in awhile when I was younger, but I don't really dye it anymore. You know now that I have gray hairs and I need to.

I have a few gray hairs coming in here and there, but it's not too obvious yet, at least so far as I know. My hair has been colored since the summer, so it's possible I have a few more now that I didn't know about. I like coloring my hair, it gives me a boost of confidence every time I do it, and I think I'll probably continue to do so.

About 10 years ago I was coloring my hair so often that I also wouldn't have been able to tell you what color it naturally was. Then one day I stopped coloring it, and let it grow out, and eventually cut all the color off. I showed up at my mom's one day and she asked me if I'd colored it again, I said no, this is apparently my natural color. It was a lot darker than I thought it was, I thought it was a lighter shade of brown, but it's a very dark brown.

What a co-incidence!!! I had mine colored yesterday s well. i went to the parlor and my hairdresser colored it the usual - copper red blonde. I have my hair trimmed as well, and my hubby said I looked like years younger! Isn't that sweet?

I color my hair at home. It always comes out well. I had it trimmed today too, and it feels so much better.

I like it...you look completely different than your other photo. I have had my hair highlighted once about 7 or 8 years ago but that is it. I have strawberry blonde hair so I don't mind the color so much and I think I would probably look funny with any other color. The grays have started showing up so I might change my mind in the future but the grays don't bother me too much. I hope your husband liked it as much this time as he did before.

I naturally have dark brown hair, and I've been a little leary of going too light, and actually haven't ever been capable of going as light as I'd like, but once I do it, I usually love it. It always makes me feel so different and gives me a slight boost of confidence and self esteem for a little while, at least until I get used to it.
And yes, my husband certainly did like it, possibly more than the last time.

Hey kats! I love it! It looks great on you! I like it better
that color than lighter! I always wanted to dye my hair
burgandy, but never had the nerve and now I think I'm just
a bit too old to do it! I don't think someone my age should
walk around rocking burgandy hair! Although, the people that
know me wouldn't probably be that surprised! I really would
love to do it! Maybe this summer I just might try it!

It looks really shiny and nice!
I colour my hair red all the time, I like trying different shades. I prefer to have it as bright a red as possible, but without bleaching it (which I don't want to do because I don't want to wreck my hair!) I can't get it more than a ginger tone usually.
