My old cats don't like the wind, all sorts of thing are flying around and it really upsets them. I have just tucked them in a dark room with the electric blanket on and hope they sleep through the day. I hope when I'm their age someone will take care of me like that, don't you.

We're having forty to fifty mile an hour winds right now, and all the cats have spent the day under my water bed! It's warm and a secure and wonderful hiding place for the poor babies. My dogs don't care much for wind either, but they are happy on the couch as long as the windows don't rattle. I think it's inherent in most animals, as the feral cats are all in hiding too. You're right though, I hope when I get that old someone will take care of me that well.

Hobo - our old crazy cat
My cat, Hobo, hated wind, he would flinch away from fan blowing or going out the door when the wind was blowing. He was a funny boy. I don't know if our old cats now, Sassy and Nino, mind wind, but Sassy likes sleeping on the roomie's waterbed.
