To have or not to have gravity

Okay, let's have some fun. The force of gravity does not exist, it's an invention, a superficial paradigm of modern man. You can't see it, you can't feel it, you can't taste or hear it. There is an observable phenomenon when I let go, let's say, of a book which I hold 20 inches above a table - it falls down and lands on it. Now we come along and say it is BECAUSE of gravity that this happens. Try to prove to me that gravity exists without a priori assuming that it is actually an independent force outside our mind.

We observe phenomenon and try to explain them. We observe that items fall down. We can observe that objects in free fall, float, that objects on the moon fall more slowly, that planets maintain their orbits. These observations we explain by a theory of a force that exists (In a Newtonian account) or a distortion of space/time (In an Einsteinian account)and that theory we call gravity, though we may have chosen to call it megalitory. all the best urban
