who do you predict will be winners at this year's oscar bash? I lean toward Nixon/Frost for best picture. That, I know, is a long shot. But I'm playing it safe with best actor....Ledger. Who would go against the joker!

I really need to get out more. I have not seen any of the movies. I think Frost/Nixon might be good as well as Doubt. I was disappointed that Clint Eastwood was not nominated.

Did you go see Gran Torino? I assume that is the movie you think Clint Eastwood should be nominated for. I was wondering if that movie was any good. I've not seen any of the Best Picture nominees either. I don't want to see some of them. I'd like to see Frost/Nixon and Slumdog Millionare though.

Hi bgerig! I am for Heath Ledger and I do hope that he will win! He was one of my favorites and he is such a loss to the movie industry. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

I think Slumdog Millionaire will win best picture. It seems people have jumped on the band wagon. I certainly believe Heath Ledger should win for Supporting Actor. I don't think it would be a pity win. He deserves it! I think Anne Hathaway will win for Best Actress. I don't plan to watch the Oscar telecast though.

I thought Ledger was an EXCELLENT Joker, but I'm afraid if he gets it people will say its a "pity" vote. Since I haven't seen the other actors in all probablity, I can't say if they did a good job, my guess is that they did.
