I am using my new mobile phone in surfing the internet. I can veiw my friends profile in friendster. I can search with Yahoo and Google too. I can watch videos from youtube. I can also use my new mobile phone to send emails and to chat with my online friends. I can log-in to mylot. But the problem is I cannot view the discussions. Worse is I cannot make posts. Have you ever thought of having a mylot mobile version? I wish to use my mobile phone if I get out of the office and I have no internet connection. I can just go to some wi-fi zones and start connecting...

Oh myLot doesn't have a mobile version? Can't see the discussions on myLot? I haven't tried that before. I can connect to the internet with my PDA phone as well but I've not been to myLot on it. That's something new.

Yes, I can log-in but can't see the discussions. I am using a smartphone from Nokia. It would be great though to have a mobile version of mylot, like the other wap sites available now.

I could log in & all but I could respond / add comment. I can see the discussions but I must say it's a bit crammed as it's not designed for WAP. Can't understand why I couldn't post comments though as I tried to put a comment here but failed to do so. The emoticons a.k.a. myLot code does not seem to work as well so I tired to use the html code but at the end I just couldn't post up, hmm....

Download and install Opera mini browser into your phone/pda. As of now, I am typing this comment using Opera mini browser installed into my phone. Have a try, Opera mini browser is totally free...

Surfing the internet using gprs/wap provided by mobile companies are really expensive. They charge subscribers by how much they use the service, they are counted as in per kilobytes or how much size of the page to be viewed. We are talking here is about wifi connections. Wifi zones are avaiable in some places here.

Not so, my friend. I only use my phone to surf the net in free wifi zones like the one we have here in the office. We have a bunch of free wifi zones in the city, especially in malls and some coffee shops.

As mentioned by lockheart above, I have already installed Opera mini in my smartphone. I have no problems now using my phone to post comments or any other sites I had viewed so far.

I am using a smartphone from Nokia. The phone has a pre-installed wap browser and that's what I am using to browse, surf the internet. I can log-in but cannot see/read the discussions. I wish and hope that mylot will soon release a mobile version so we can use our mobile phones to read and response to discussions, even if we are out of the office and far away from our computers.

Wow, your new mobile phone sounds like it does a lot of stuff! I thought I might like a Blackberry or iPhone at one point, but I hate the way the mobile phone companies always take every opportunity to raise my monthly rates. And I'm not going to be paying any more than I already do. Good luck with getting the phone you want.
