I love To Rate positive to all...what about you..

I have been rating all people positive and therefore perhaps people have started rating me negative for it as 88/100 the day before yesterday but saw it coming down to 85/100. I could not understand this. Why is it like this?

I always rate people positively unless they have a spiky tongue and rude. They are some people who really cannot hold their tongue and make offensive remarks and these people deserve a negative rating but most often I will be generous with my rating. If you rate people negatively without valid reasons your rating will also be affected. It is actually a disadvantage to rate people negatively.

I do that, too, after I've posted my reply. I can't see others' replies since I work from email notifications but I enjoy reading them after I've added my own and I "+" everyone!

I try to remeber to rate... often I forget. I only rate responses that adds something to the discussion - never the - "I agree" ones that doesn't have any content. I seldom rate negative - I always remember that people perheps aren't rude - it's just the way they are writing - the lack of skills in English do make it sound that you are rude some times - I bet that's why I get rated negativly some times - I know I get on manys nerves responding in discussions about spanking, but there is no chance in the world that spanking would ever be good for the child.

Most of the time, I do give positive ratings to those who respond to discussions I started whether they agree or not to my point of view. There are instances though that I have to refrain rating a responder for the "negativity' of his/her post or his/her response has nothing to add to the discussion at hand. But I never gave negative rating. I don't feel like giving it but I'm not sure, I may give it if a responder is violating any myLot rule/regulation or he/she is unruly at all.
