The sleep number beds

i tried one out on valentines day and im about to buy one (as soon as my money comes in) but i just wanted to double check with the people here to make sure that they are good beds.. i mean have you heard anything negative on them? etc? i know i want/need a new bed but dont want the innerspring anymore and i dont like the memory foam kind so i figured these would be the best for my back and now they have them adjustable so it would be heaven!!
are sleep number beds worth the price and as beneficial as they seem or am i falling for their advertising? lol.. if you have had one i would love to hear from you!!

I've never heard of a sleep number bed before, so I can't help I'm afraid. What kind of bed is it? I think that it sounds interesting to have a bed that is neither sprung nore made of memory foam. And it's something that I might consider myself as I don't really get on with conventional beds because of back problems, and find our memory foam mattress too hard.
I hope that someone else can give you some information. :)

its an air chamber bed.. you can get it to where both sides of the bed have their own section and it has a remote and you just can adjust it up and down as far as how soft or firm you want it.. then they have it to where they can make it adjustable to where the bed will tilt and etc.. it seemed really comfortable in the store especially since you can set it on how ever feel you want

Ooh, that sounds really good. Thanks for the information! I wonder if they sell them here.. It would be great for us, as I like a softer mattress while my husband likes a harder one. We'd need to save up a bit of money first I think, but I'll look out for it for the future.

we did change also our bed since hubby had back pain.now the new one, its very comfortable but can´t remember the name of it SORRY
