Well...I'm gonna be a call center agent...Again. lol. I'm gonna start work on March. Specifically I'm a customer service representative via chat and email. I'm really really excited to start my job. Cause I feel like I'm gonna be enjoying it! Compared to my last job as a market researcher where I have to talk and talk and talk...lol. So this time, I'm just gonna be chatting with customers. And the pay is good..so I have no complains with my new job.

Ahah, are you a call center agent? Me too. As a CSR, I am doing order management and complaints processing. For me I think it is boring, but if I can be an expert and manager one day, that would be better. Nowadays, the call center is very crucial to a company. Enjoy...

I'm unemployed. By profession I'm an IT geek (anything software, though predominantly CRM). These days I'm a full-time carer for my partner and I write/blog for a little cash. I think if I were to give myself a job title now, it'd be "resident loony".

I think we may in the same situation, but i am just a little processor not a supervisor.lol. The job i am doing is not that boring, but i do really have enough of this company. To do OT, to be busy...I can totally accept. But it is not fair that i have done lots of job and had a good performance, still get low salary. People doing easier work, less work still get higher salary than me, at least the same. I have sacrificed a lot. I stayed in the office when everyone else was enjoying New year's holidays at home. I had lunch later than anyone in order to take care of phone when they were having lunch. I came to the office on some weekends to finish additional work...I can say I have done much more work than anyone in my office. What more, I got several emails from clients about recgonizing my job. But my salary is damn less. Even there is a chance to upgrade employee's salary, everyone gets a little improvement, including me. Fine, let's forget about low salary if we are able to get more chance to be promoted. But in fact, it is really dispointing. Yes, the company promises us that it is growing very fast these days, it can give more chance to its employees. But in reality, when there is a management position vacancy, the company find some esle outside without thinking about finding inside. You know, it looks like kindly of cheating. Yes, to accumulate more work expericence and to be loyal are very correct and important. However, 3 out of 10 in my office are planning to leave. And we are having interviews currently. We want a company that we can fully devote ourselves and enjoy daily work. It is a benifit for both the company and us. During this recession environment, it may be not easy to find another one, but we will try. Wish we can make it. And so do you.

oh,god,we have the same situation.I also work in a hotel, and i am senior staff here.Yes,it is very hard here, sometimes I just want to quit this job. the reson why I didn't is: 1)I got one job at least,a lot of people don't have job! 2)No one born to be a manager.Everyone has the same way to go,if you want to develp a carrer in hotel, you need to experience this all! But you said that your salary is low, then you can compare with other hotels,or it's not wirth your hard working..

Im a paralegal. I work for a husband and wife who are both attorneys. They have separate lawfirms but are in the same office, so technically I work for two law firms. Im there only employee which sucks because Im always alone. All day with no one to really talk to but the mail lady and the UPS guy. I like to call myself a Jill of all Trades because Im not just a paralegal Im also the sectary and the office manager. I've been there almost 2 years. I know that when Im ready to look for another job having all these roles at the office will help me so I guess I can bare being the only employee for a few more years

I am self employed. I love my job. I work long hours, I do not have days off, I work with animals as I have my own farm. But I can take breaks whenever I want or need to. I have no boss... I really like that one...I am the boss. I decide what gets done, why and how. I can get up anytime I want. I can set my own schedule. If one of my employees (sheep) irritates me, I sell it. Problem solved. I don't have to drive to work, I just walk out to the barn.

customer service fields are all difficult. you have to have that special karma with the people. being that you are a supervisor, you must have been in it for at least a little while. if you are still not comfortable, why not look for another job while you have one. but i'll tell you one thing. almost everyone hates their job. that's why they call it work.
