"I will do it later"

Famous last words for me they are " I will do it later" and of course it never gets done! Prime example, my daughters doll, her brothers split the seam on it and so its arm is coming off, I told her I would fix it later. A week later and it is still sitting in the corner waiting to be fixed! I have a terrible habit of this and do it on everything and you know later never comes!!!
So are you a do it later person or a do it there and then person?

It depends on what needs to be done. Most of the time I try to do it then and there but other times when I really can't be bothered, it gets put aside until I'm good and ready LOL

I'm a do it now type of person because if I let it go and do it later, it'll sit on my mind and drive me insane until I do get it done. I'm definetly not a procrastinator. My husband is one of those do it later types which really grates on my nerves because I want it done now to get it over with and off my mind.

sounds like me I still have a quilt I started a few months ago waitting to be done an my daughter has a pocket that needs mending an I tell my kids put it where i can see it so I will rember to get it an I alway say I will get it later we must be cut from the same cloth lol

I am a later person, i wait until it needs doing really. I should do things as and when I see them but having two jobs, I get tired and just want to spend my spare time relaxing instead of doing things that I can do later lol

Yep, I'm a do it later person. My husband ripped his leather jacket, and I promised him I'd fix it. After almost a week I finally put the paint on, but I still have to get around to heating the paint so it takes the shape of the grain. Hopefully I'll get around to that today, but I doubt it. I've been awfully lazy lately.

I think I am getting lazy again with things, today I have been terrible, BUT I have not been on facebook yet today so there is hope for me yet!!!

LOL, yes there is. I haven't done much today myself, and I had to force myself to do the few things that did get done. I did SOME dishes, but still have quite a few left. I am doing laundry. I just chalk it up to "I'm coming down with something". Actually what I think I'm coming down with is a bout of depression, I go through phases like that sometimes.

I always seem to be putting it off til the last second. Usually by the last day I am able to do it, I will tell myself in the morning that I need to do it before a certain time, and by then I actually do it. So I never seem to put off things for too long, but I should still consider doing things as soon as I get a chance.

Yeah me too, I seriously need to do things there and then instead of putting it off, I would probably be much more organised!

I have gotten better about this. I am more of the do it right now type! I do prioritize more. I am going to take the most important first and then work down from there. I think its because I hate a stock pile, or back up of things to do!

i was like that before" i will do it later" but it has change when my little girl is growing because if we keep that bad habbit we still the one who will do it so i rather do it now so that i can do something else later and my mine has peace

yes im very bad about that to. sometimes i forget until to late. when the kids were little tho. they made me do things sooner

Yes, most of the time, i would say that I will do that later. With absolutely every thing in my life. I never learnt from my experiences that it makes things only worst. Let's hope that I will not say those words again.
I can't tell how many times I have used it and got hurt!

Some things I do right away and others I put off over and over and over. When you put something off there is always some new task or distraction but that is just the way life is. Right now I should be doing something other than spending time on myLot.
