We are living in a country that once boasted about freedom. No doubt, many men and women have lost their lives for our freedom in America...but we are losing that freedom..freedom of speech.

Two things.
This happened in California, home to the most liberal judges and courts in the country.
There was already a restraining order which I'm assuming he violated and that's what he was convicted of.
Ok, three things. Considering the violence and intimidation that's been used in the past I do not support this man's arrest and conviction and I do agree, his rights to freedom of speech and expression have been violated. I read that some of the escourts testified on his behalf so obviously no one perceived him as a threat of any kind.

If he was not a threat of any kind, he should not have even been arrested.

Like I said, it's California...what do you expect...common sense and fairness?

Well it is illegal for pastor's to use their status as a spiritual leader to discuss anything openly that deals with politics. My pastors couldn't even say who they were voting for. THey are supposed to give both sides of the issue, but in my opinion abortion is something the Bible speaks out against so I would think if the pastor was discussing biblical passage then he should be allowed to do that.

Yet, that is a sticky situation because before he is a pastor, he is a man with an opinion.
