I was wondering if you have ever had this experience? I have had a new dream about a tropical storm that causes flooding....it was very detailed, and I am hoping the dream does not come true.

I have had some very detailed dreams and even woken up thinking they had really happened but didnt. On the other hand, I have dreamed of places and then seen them in real and remembered it. I have gone places I have never been and thought I had seen the exact place somewhere before. I have even known where things were yet never been there before..Its a very strange feeling

I find it very strange, when you do have it happen, walking into a place and recognizing it and knowing that you have been there before.- even if only in a dream..realizing all the details....wow, appreciate the response..

Personally I am not sure if you can say a Dream per sey has come True or not, but I know that there are things you can hear from god that can come true. I know that if I were to dream something like that I would not want it to come True, or would be questioning God on if there is more I should be doing in my life to make sure I and others are prepared.

I do believe that God does give us insight for our own good and so that we may help others. That is a very wise way to look at things! God has his own way of getting his messages across.

I have had many dreams that have come true. I am also aware of the ones that will actually happen, most of them are reoccuring dreams. I have not had any of those in quite a while and maybe that is a good thing. There was one when I dreamed that a friend of mine was going to get into a car accident on his way home. It was not going to be serious, but I cautioned him anyhow. At first he thought that I was crazy, then I described the accident exactly how it was going to happen in full detail including the tree and what the shape of the bark was that was going to fall off the tree from the collision. It was about a week later he had the accident exactly as I had described it. So, telling him about it, did not stop it from happening. At least he was not hurt, just the car and the tree.

Different dreams mean different things. Some are very close to what actually happens, but some are totally symbolic and have no meaning without interpretation. I have had both. I believe that deja vu is a forgotten dream in the subconscious coming true. But other dreams are, as I said, symbolic and will never come to pass. There are some good books on interpreting dreams, maybe you could find one in a local bookstore or library. Hope this helped.

I hope not! A few weeks ago I had a very vivid dream that I was walking along the beach with my daughter and a plane flew over us. My daughter said, "Mummy, look at the plane!" We both looked up and suddenly it just exploded into a ball of flames. I have never felt so afraid; it was one of the most realistic dreams- or should I say nightmare- that I have ever had! It was horrible!

I have and they have never been good ones. Let's hope that yours doesn't either. I get very uneasy if I have a bad dream that is not so out there that there is no way that it can happen.

Exactly, and that is how this one was. It was all so real. I sure hope that it is wrrong. It was about Galveston being hit again this season. It was about an e name, so when I woke up, I checked the list of names for 2009 and there is an Ericka on the list. Weird, isnt it?

Your dream is very scary and I too hope it doesn't come true. I dreamed once that our car was stolen from outside the church. The following week we were in the park and our car was stolen and my husband told me not to tell him any more of my dreams. I told him that in my dream, the car was stolen from outside the Church. Well, we got the car back a couple of days later and on the following Saturday while we were at mass, our car was stolen from outside of the church. Not as bad as your dream...we only lost a car!

Dreams can be very starnge. I thought it was strange because we had not been talking about anything like this and we had not been watching anything about this. It just came up in the dream, oddly for no apperent reason. Appreciate the response.

I have met ghosts in dreams and seen premonitions of things to come; however, often dreams are just our own fears coming to the surface. It is not often easy to discern the truth about a dream.

Yes, I did. But it wasn't anything awful like yours. I hade a dream my Aunt Jo Ann was coming to our church the following Sunday. She lives two hours away from our home, so it was not likely, we hadn't even talked to her in ages, and I didn't think anything of it. But the following Sunday she showed up with her husband. It wasn't deja vu, and it wasn't some fantastic dream, but it came true.

Only once I had a dream come true. I was still going to school at the time and we had just made a huge major move about six months before my dream. The dream was very real. In the morning I told my dad about my dream and he said I probably had the dream because I was no doubt missing our friends from back home. In my dream I was walking home from school as I always do and I noticed a car with strange license plates parked outside our house, as I got close I noticed it was from the province we had moved from. When I walked in the house there sat our friends. Well to my surprise the very next day that dream was brought to true life. Of course my dad had already told our company about the dream and I just froze when I saw the car parked out front our house and when I walked in and saw the same people sitting there that was in my dream I didn't know what to do and it gave me the most odd feeling you could imagine. I started to cry and I dropped my books on the floor and ran to my room. I told everyone I was sorry, happy to see them but explained the dream. I truly hope your dream does NOT come true my friend.

No. But I have been remembering my dreams more and more these days. My dreams have been more constant as well. As far as I can recall, my dreams have not been bringing any fear to me, they are just dreams of my family and friends and what is going on in the world today.

Sometimes, I also have the ordinary type of dreams but this just was not one of them. I just hope it does not come true in any way. Appreciate the response. It would be nice to have only good ones and have them all come true!

I have experience deja vu numerous times in my life. I would consider them to all be instances of premonitions through dreams, even though they have been minute. I have had some very detailed dreams that have me worried as well. I would hate for them to become reality. I had one just the other night... it was a dream within a dream... where my new hairstylist was killed in an automobile crash. In my dream, I had dreamt that, then told her about it in the dream, hoping it wouldn't come true. Now I'm not sure I want to tell her of it when I see her next, for fear it could make it happen.

I have had a few dreams that came true. They were just mundane things like things I would do with friends, and part of the scary thing was that I dreamt everything that we wore, said and things that would have happened. It was freaky.
