will dungarees ever make a come-back, and should they?

I had several pairs of dungarees when I was young, and I'm talking a long time ago here. I liked wearing them, because you could wear all sorts of different tops under them from T-shirts to jumpers. I haven't seen any for years. Will they ever make a come-back, or did they and I just missed it?

I respond to this discussion sitting in a spacious, endeared pair of denim overalls. If memory serves me correctly, this look faded into the mid 90's somewhere. No matter the current trend, my overalls seem to prevail. And I do accept gentle criticism about my fashion faux pas, very recently a friend referred to my "farmer pants". My overalls may never reappear on the runway but will always have a place in my closet.

I am so glad to hear it, and I'm so glad someone resoonded, I was starting to think that no-one even knew what dungarees were!
