parents?

do you still have your parents? how old were you when you lost them.. Im 23 I lost my mum to cancer when I was 16 and lost father on the 5th of this month.I do not have a partner or children and live on disbality dont have any close family or friends am in therapy. How did you cope?

I have both of my parents still living. As for my b/f he lost both of his parents while he was not even a teenage.One of his aunts took him in and raised him with 3 of her own children but he never really felt like he belonged, only when he got older and developed relationships with me and my family.

So sorry for your loss. Both of my parents are alive. I m close to my mother. I have no relationship to speak of with my dad. I have a wonderful hubby and 2 kids. I just take the bad times 1 day at a time. And try and fund something to be grateful for in each day.
