My Son needs me at all times

My 2yrs old son is very playful,he is fond of football and cricket and wants me to play with him.Very rarely does he gets involved in an indoor game.We had a full time helper from the time he was born,so I was with him day and night.But now that helper has left.I after doing cooking and some house work at times feel like having time of my own.But at the same time he needs me,and when I do something he shows tantrums.How can I handle such situation?
