Wearing bangles and bracelets.

I love wearing bracelets i have a huge collection of bracelets with me . i like them because they bring some sort of attraction to my appearance as i am male i don't go for bangles, of course my girlfriend is very much interested in wearing ivory bangles.

since childhood, i always prefer to be free of any attachments to my body other than clothes and footwear. now, i can use hats and umbrellas since the present condition of the environment makes it necessary also. bracelets, bangles, wristwatches and all types of pieces of jewelry are no-nos for me. i am never accustomed to using them despite all the efforts of my mother to have me get used to wearing them, too, just like my sisters do. my elder sister used to reprimand me that i look so very much a tomboy for not taking care of myself enough. for neither do i use colognes, perfumes nor makeup. i am most comfortable without all those attachments and those colors anywhere in my body.

No not anymore. When I was in college, it was a favourite past time of us girls to hang around the footpath shops selling trinkets of all kinds. Earrings and bangles were all time favourites with us. I too had a vast collection of them…in fact I was so crazy that I wouldn’t let mom throw away any boxes coz I needed them to store the bangles. However, most of those are lost now or have been thrown away by mom as there’s nobody to use them anymore and they had become dirty. Now I wear only one gold bangle in both arms…for busy ladies, I think that is the best. Too many bangles create unnecessary noise at the work place and does not look too professional to me.

What are bangles?

Hi!I am not very fond of wearing gold bangles as is the tradition of women in south India.But I love colourful glass bangles.Love to wear a dozen on each hands!I also love the wooden broad ones singly.I remember winding silk threads over plastic bangles and wearing them to college.Boy!That used to catch the eyes of all the girls around.
