My friend's dad was such a tightwad that he suggested separating the two-ply toilet paper so it would last longer. When everyone laughed at his idea he resorted to rationing it.
Do you know anyone who is shall we say, stingy and miserly? Please share; what do they do to save money?

Well, my mother in law is pretty stingy. She goes to garage sales to buy clothes sometimes. I think an even worse problem than being stingy is hoarding. My mother was a bad one for that. She saved every twist tie, every bread bag clip, every plastic bag, every plastic container... I recycle all of that stuff, I cannot stand clutter.
